Amsterdam-North

Case Decathlon - Conversion of MediaMarkt to Decathlon in Amsterdam-North.

Decathlon Netherlands B.V.
Converting what was formerly a MediaMarkt store into a new Decathlon store. For this we took care of the entire exterior design and part of the interior design.
Exterior film, interior film, various light boxes, box letters and canvases.
Turning a store where everything has been stripped down and only a skeleton stands, into a great business. A business where every customer knows their way around easily and is reluctant to leave.
In addition to SIZO being Decathlon's regular supplier, we can keep everything regarding sign under one roof. This way, Decathlon only has to communicate with one party.

The story

MediaMarkt moved to another floor in the building; a large, empty space was created. Decathlon was about to expand their chain of stores and saw this location as the solution to their plan. But in order to do so, the entire floor had to be stripped of old cables and other unwanted materials. After this was done and the floor, ceiling and walls were also completed. We from SIZO could get to work fixing all the signs in and around the building. We consider a case like this from Decathlon a nice challenge.

The implementation

The box lettering must be hung at great heights, namely four and ten meters high. In order to accomplish this, a lot has to be arranged. From transportation, production, permits to fixing and delivering the final result.

What always remains a challenge for a company like SIZO is that our organization can and may be the last to complete its work. And with projects like this, the deadline always remains. Should something go wrong and the project is delayed, we will have to work harder than first thought.

SIZO aftercare

Should something not work due to a malfunction, power supply or other teething problems. We are always ready to jump in as soon as possible to solve the problem. The work we deliver must be perfect at all times, the customer is truly king to us.
