The panels of both the signage as the column are coated with full color foil. However, it takes some work before the foil has a rust and marble effect. In our studio, our colleagues first converted high-quality photos into a printable/technical document. Once made technically ready, the appropriate roll is placed on our roll printer. In this case, it is 3M's IJ180 wrap film that has the following properties: premium wrap film, with a permanent, gray, repositionable adhesive layer to quickly and easily apply the film to the substrate. Applicable to various substrates and spots, the material is slightly reformable. This film has a lifespan of up to ten years, if in the right (average) conditions.
The boxed letter of the VOCO hotel is a profile 8 letter. This letter is internally illuminated by LED spotlights and has no rebate. Most of it consists of acrylic material, but the back side is welded closed with aluminum. Because the front side of the sheet material is made of acrylic and covered with translucent foil, the light from the LED spotlights comes out well. As a result, your logo is also clearly visible at night and guests know the way to the hotel even then.
Due to circumstances, the chosen sign supplier for this project was unable to deliver on time. SIZO was asked about a good week before the opening of the hotel to take on this job and solve the resulting problem. Actually impossible but an exciting challenge for our project managers. Because SIZO does not have to rely on outside parties but designs, prints and produces everything in-house, the job is done on time.
