Letters

Unprecedented possibilities

Your logo on the wall or an inspirational quote. It's all possible with facade letters!

Advertising letters

As part of interior design.

Milling letters and box letters are often used as an advertising medium or to convey a commercial or rational message. However, it is also quite possible to incorporate advertising letters into the design of your work environment. Inspirational messages on the wall, motivational texts in waiting areas or a beautifully designed welcome message in the reception lobby. Beautiful texts can add depth and radiance to an interior.

Wayfinding or signage

Lettering can be used in many ways in a modern professional interior. Obvious applications are for rational purposes as signage or wayfinding on exterior grounds or inside buildings. The functionality of the advertising letters is always paramount in this case. Whether milled letters, adhesive letters, printed foil or any type of advertising letters.

With wayfinding you have to think of trivial application like the location of toilet or reception, informing where certain departments or rooms are located etc. Purely a purposeful use of signing to let visitors and user find their way. Of course, this does not take away from the fact that this can still be done in a creative and beautiful way. Purposeful does not have to be boring!

A more playful or creative use of sign letters is often seen at company presentations. A lobby or reception area often lends itself to telling visitors something about the company in advance. The first impression!

This can of course be done through images and plain text on print film or panels. However, the application of three-dimensional milled letters, logos or other images gives the presentation a much richer look. Think, for example, of a three-dimensional map showing the branches or completed projects, the company logo life-size three-dimensionally ...

A beautiful, well-conceived, timeline depicting the history of the organization often makes a deep impression. Especially if this timeline is created with care and the materials and techniques of the signing used alternate. A combination of printed di-bond panels, window film and three-dimensional milled letters is often used here. Depending on the budget and size of the presentation, illuminated box letters may also be used. An alternation of sign techniques often keeps the attention longer and gives the presentation a professional look.

The work environment can contribute significantly to the appearance of a company or organization but also has a major impact on the productivity and well-being of those present. Both for employees and visitors. And that does not always have to cost a lot of money.

A thought-provoking text on certain points in the company or a poem on the wall with beautiful milled letters symbolizing the organization's core values can give an organization more depth. Especially if this is interspersed with beautiful printed graphics on a tendon cloth or forex panel, for example.

Also consider motivational texts in the work environment. Indicate on the elevator door how many calories you burn by taking the stairs or promote healthy eating in the company cafeteria in an original way with catchy texts and images.

Box letters and milled letters as part of interior design.

Cleverly applied lettering, in particular, can help children learn in a playful way. By incorporating facts into a school building in a fun way, information is absorbed subconsciously. You can think of print film with math tables on the steps, wind directions on the wall, etc.

Different types of sign letters

A huge variety of advertising letters are used in signing. We name a few:
Often these letters are printed on a self-adhesive film and applied to the relevant surface on site by a technician. A lot is possible with this form of lettering. SIZO's full color printers can handle almost any size and the huge variety of foils ensures that lettering of almost any surface is possible. This type of lettering is always two-dimensional and is often used on glass partitions, doors and panels, but nowadays it can also be applied to stone, stucco or wood.
Unlike print letters, router letters are three-dimensional. Depending on the material used, the thickness of these sign letters can vary. A milled letter often has a somewhat richer look than a print or cut letter. Milling letters can be made from a variety of materials. Commonly used are materials such as Forex, PVC sheet material, di-bond, perspex. But Sizo also makes milling letters in cardboard, wood or, for example, Styrofoam. The mounting method of milling letters is highly dependent on the type of substrate, the material the milling letters are made of and the size. Some milling letters can be glued others will have to be mechanically attached, for example by means of screws or spacer holders. Milling letters on spacers often look very chic and are therefore frequently used.
Box letters are often somewhat larger in size and can be illuminated or unlit as desired. Box letters can also be produced from many different materials. Stainless steel, aluminum, (translucent) plastic sheet material in any color imaginable. Box letters can be illuminated in various ways. Lighting can be straight to the front, just to the back or to the side. The color of the illumination of the box letters can also be adjusted and can itself be variable.
Much more can be done with signing letters. We can laser-cut letters from special materials such as stainless steel, or brass, polished or mat brushed. Our workshop can compose letters from a combination of materials, for example stainless steel di-bond on a black acrylic backplate. Sizo also supplies letters made of solid acrylic in every imaginable color or with molded-in LEDs, possibly in RGB configuration. Beautifully neon-look sign letters are also possible.
