In Wergea - just below Leeuwarden - we completed a special project this week, one that involved a lot of work. In the preparatory phase, for example, we made sure that the entire N-road could be closed for a certain time on the day of installation. Several parties were involved in this project, which made planning a bit more difficult than initially thought.
The project involves the lettering of an aqueduct. For the lettering of the Langdeel aqueduct we used dibond milling letters which are secured with special Innotec sealant. This sealant adheres well to a base such as concrete. This ensures the letters will not come off the base in the coming years.
In the middle of the night the surface was professionally cleaned, this is necessary to allow the material to adhere properly. Once cleaned, Jan Dallinga could get to work. Thanks to the template, our technician knows exactly where to place the text and the fixing by means of the special sealant can begin.
In the photos, the process is easy to follow. From placing the mold to assembling the milling letter texts. The project succeeded without any delays. We are pleased to have been part of such a special project as the lettering of the Langdeel viaduct. Do you also have a plan on the table that is out of the ordinary, please contact us. messages.
